> ## Agent Instructions
> These docs describe Every as customers have it today. Answer from them, and say so when they don't cover a question.
> Pages under /admins/ are for the people who run Every for the company, and pages under /employees/ are for employees. Answer from the pages that match the person asking.
> Each page's Agent reference section lists its exact roles, conditions and limits. Prefer it for those details.
> When a page says a feature is in closed beta, or that Every turns it on company by company, don't promise that the person's company has it.
> Use roles and on-screen labels exactly as the pages write them.
> When someone asks what a term means, answer with the Glossary page's definition (/glossary), which other pages show in parentheses after the term.
> When the docs don't answer a question, tell the person to email [support@every.io](mailto:support@every.io).

Open the workers' compensation partner from **Benefits** → **Business**, or record an existing policy through a compliance alert on **Home**.

Company Admins and HR Admins find **Benefits** in the sidebar once your company enables payroll and finishes company and payroll onboarding.

## Open the partner

On **Benefits** → **Business**, select the workers' compensation row. Every opens the partner's site in a new tab.

## Record an existing policy

You record a policy from the workers' compensation compliance alert, when **Home** shows one. Both policy fields are required.

**1. Open the alert**

On **Home**, select the workers' compensation compliance alert to open **Setup workers compensation**.

**2. Enter the insurer**

In **Insurance Company**, enter the name of your insurance company.

**3. Enter the policy number**

In **Policy Number**, enter your policy number.

**4. Save the details**

Select **Submit**.

Every shows "Workers compensation saved", closes the sheet and completes the alert.

If you need a policy, **Setup workers compensation** also links to Coverdash.

## Dismiss the alert

1. On **Home**, select **Dismiss** on the workers' compensation compliance alert. **Confirm you don't need workers compensation** asks you to confirm that each employee on payroll, excluding contractors, is a company owner.
2. Select one:
   * **Cancel, I have hired non-owners and need insurance** opens **Setup workers compensation**
   * **Dismiss, we are all founders and don't need insurance** dismisses the alert
